Carrot Cake by Philosophy

I recently found this on philosophy's website as being a new 3 in 1 shower gel. Apparently it was inspired by a woman who wrote into Good Housekeeping magazine to create your own shower gel recipe. Online ordering seems to be the only way to acquire this body wash so I have to wait until it is delivered to give you the full scoop. It is not LE so hopefully it will join the other regularly listed items on the website. Here is the direct link if you are so inclined: http://www.sephora.com/browse/brand_hierarchy.jhtml?brandId=3990&contentId=C16074

The price is slightly higher than the other 3in1 shower gels-$20.00. However, 100% of the proceeds are donated to Childhelp, which is an organization that helps meet the physical, emotional, educational, and spiritual needs of abused and neglected children. What better reason do you need to buy a beauty product? Most other products only donate a small portion so I am glad that philosophy is giving it all. If you have purchased this I am interested to know what you think of it.

O-Glow by Smashbox

This new innovative cheek gel is clear and provides the most natural flush possible. It is preservative/fragrance free and waterproof. Apparently after this gel is applied it stimulates circulation in the area, which will ultimately give you the flushed look. The reviews are not in yet on this so if anyone has input I am curious to hear if it is worthwhile. It would be nice to achieve an authentic flushed appearance that doesn't look like I am trying. Think about the pink/red hue in your cheeks after a few glasses of wine.

Sounds interesting and different. Definitely worth a try. I really like how companies are creating makeup that is easy and versatile. When you have to think about something to much it becomes very unappealing to me. Keep it simple.

Cypress Candle by Fresh

Each time a Fresh candle is lit, a story is told, a memory ignited. Each candle boasts a unique blend of waxes, the clean flame of a lead-free wick and a remarkably level 50-hour burn. Bakelite lid protects the candle and its fragrance. The Cypress Candle evokes Mediterranean gardens and woods filled with vetiver, pine, cypress and wet moss--a beautiful, sheer woodsy scent.

B~Balmy Days and Sundays by Ineke

I recently went into my favorite local boutique Plain Jane and smelled all of the Ineke fragrance line. This was by far the most captivating one. It has notes of freesia, leafy greens, grass, honeysuckle, rose, mimosa, chypre accent and musk. When paired together they make such an interesting scent unlike anything I've ever smelled before. This would definitely become an everyday perfume for someone who wants something uncomplicated and refreshing. The lasting power on this is amazing. It is the kind of fragrance you'll need to apply only once a day b/c of it's high concentration of oil to alcohol level. Ineke offers a fantastic way to try all four of their scents before purchasing by offering samples for $12.00, which is fully redeemable against any future product purchase. The others that I tried: After My Own Heart-very light, girly, bergamot scent and Chemical Bonding-cool, citrus, peony scent. If you happen to come across this line take a moment to take a whiff, it is worth your while and let me know what you think.
